Pakistan Barred from Kabaddi World Cup 2016 in India :- Sport has been a strong factor to unite countries. But sometimes situations are not tributary for unity. The current strife and conflict over Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan is a bad news for world. The International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) decided not to invite Pakistan for the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup. Argentina will take place of Pakistan in the tournament for which venue is settled in Ahmedabad. The tournament will start on 7th October.

Countries like India, Bangladesh and Iran have the strongest teams. Pakistan also has one of the strongest team for 2016 Kabaddi World Cup but International Kabaddi Federation has decided to exclude Pakistan from the tournament. Thus there is no worth of its team.
Relations of India and Pakistan are getting worse day by day after the surgical strike of Indian Army on terrorist camps in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). It was the reply of attack on the Army Headquarters in Uri on 18 September 2016.

“Pakistan is a worthy stakeholder and member of IKF. But in current political situation, IKF have decided to exclude Pakistan from 2016 World Cup, for the best interest of the game. We will play World Cup without them.” said an official of International Kabaddi Federation.
We received some reports about change in schedule of 2016 Kabaddi World Cup. Pakistan demanded to postpone it due to the strife between the hosting country and Pakistan. But the CEO of IKF said, “We didn’t receive any such request from the Pakistan federation or any other official of Pakistan. The postponing the tournament is not possible because all the teams have arrived in Ahmedabad and everything has been settled very well. Tournament will start as planned.” An another report about World Cup, that the World Cup will start in Punjab during November. It created a lot of confusing environment.
An another official reacted to the rumour, “The International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) has no connection with these types of fake news. The tournament will start as planned on 7th October.”
The expectations of people are so high with this tournament. The 2016 World Cup will be the biggest tournament of the history of International Kabaddi. As usual people are expected after the success of Pro Kabaddi League in India.
